Our story.
We are a team of engineers who bring a ray of light to your problems. Heliades Systems was founded in 2026 by a team based in Paris and Marseille.
The Greek myth that inspired us.
Heliades means the daughters of Helios, the Greek god of the sun. When their brother Phaethon fell from the sun's chariot, they grieved by the river until they turned into poplar trees. Their tears kept falling and hardened into amber.
The Greek word for amber is elektron. People noticed long ago that a rubbed piece of amber attracts small objects, one of the first records of static electricity, and that is where the words electron and electricity come from. The name carries that whole line for us, from the sun, to amber, to the electronics and systems we work on today.
Our mission.
The founders created Heliades Systems to keep engineering responsibility clear from the first technical decision to the final deliverable. The same team can investigate a problem, design the response and help carry it into the real product.
We want technical judgment to guide the work, engineers to stay accountable for what they produce, and each mission to leave a useful result behind.
